Could Feng Shui help?
Kurly Marwaha is an expert in feng shui and believes the ancient technique can be used to make your sleeping environment as fit-for-purpose as possible.
“When using decoration – fewer results is more. Put a single picture or focal piece in each direction for you to see from the bed. I advise a happy picture on the opposite wall to set the tone for how you feel when you go to bed and when you wake up,” Kurly told us.
“All humans need love,” Kurly went on. “You can create a loving space for yourselves by dressing your bed in bedclothes that are truly inviting to all your senses. So beautiful to see, touch, smell and so on.”
Finally, Kurly recommends adding a plant to your bedroom; “A single plant placed well will bring the energy of life into your bedroom and reconnect you to your most natural state – the best sleep comes from there. Choose one that has a gentle shape, so for example, not cacti. Instead opt for round leaves or a flowering plant, or even a palm.”
