Could Feng Shui help?
Kurly Marwaha is an expert in feng shui and believes the ancient technique can be used to make your sleeping environment as fit-for-purpose as possible.
“When using decoration – fewer results is more. Put a single picture or focal piece in each direction for you to see from the bed. I advise a happy picture on the opposite wall to set the tone for how you feel when you go to bed and when you wake up,” Kurly told us.
“All humans need love,” Kurly went on. “You can create a loving space for yourselves by dressing your bed in bedclothes that are truly inviting to all your senses. So beautiful to see, touch, smell and so on.”
Finally, Kurly recommends adding a plant to your bedroom; “A single plant placed well will bring the energy of life into your bedroom and reconnect you to your most natural state – the best sleep comes from there. Choose one that has a gentle shape, so for example, not cacti. Instead opt for round leaves or a flowering plant, or even a palm.”

Want to know why the sunshine has the ability to make you just want to breathe a sigh of relief and smile…………for no reason?! Read on…. Here I am on just another average working day……sunshine, smiles, warm conversations, great ideas, great people, good food, feeling good from the inside out and inspired to help people as much as one can…….hmmmm yes I believe this sums up a typical Phoenix, Arizona day. I’m here on a short visit.
sunshine makes everyone feel better from the inside out right. Now I could give you a long explanation or I can give you the short version…..so here’s the short version: As human beings, we all come from or are of carbon….carbon is produced (very crudely defined) in dying stars….in the skies. Stars in the sky are of course planets and the one that is biggest and most impactful in our solar system is, of course, the Sun. Therefore it is not surprising that the Sun, which is, of course, a star and therefore the basis of what we are made, has the influence of ‘igniting’ or charging the life-force in our bodies, minds, and emotions. And this is how the sun literally breathes life back into our bodies, minds, and souls on an energetic level. In an instant it raises our energy, it brightens our emotions or lightens our load, and it’s as if physically years are lifted right off us. Have you heard that children’s song?“The Sun has got his hat on, and he’s coming out to play…..”Well, there is some substance to it in that when the Sun comes out (with his hat on so not too strong), then be prepared for your playful side to be inspired or to feel just that real ‘feel good factor’. And have you noticed how the ‘feel good factor’ quite often feels just like the way you felt in your happiest moments as a child? Well, that’s because when the carbon energy in us, or put another way the life-force or life-giving energy, it equates to our youngest selves or spiritually speaking our inner-child being brought out. And this my friends is the very short and basic explanation of why the sunshine has the ability to make you just want to breathe a sigh of relief and smile…………for no reason.
A growing portion of the population are single and looking for love. The things that people are willing to try and admit to trying are also growing with this. More and more people are now turning to more holistic options when looking for love and Kurly Marwaha is a Feng Shui expert and master who helps people create the outcomes they desire.
It’s a different approach to the norm, and Kurly has been having some success with helping her clients meet romantic partners to find meaningful relationships. The things that she asks people to do are quite out of the ordinary and unexpected for them, but their willingness to do them anyway are a testament to how important finding love is to them, and also to how difficult it is becoming to meet a partner.
It is worth noting that people invest a great deal in looking for love, including hours and hours on dating websites, and a great deal financially alongside this. It is common to hear both men and women express frustrations about ‘how difficult it is to meet a partner these days’. It is not surprising then that this is a common request of Feng Shui.
Feng Shui dates from approximately 5000 years BC and here it is, still working just as well for modern men and women. Feng Shui is all about using the power of the environment to bring or attract results to you. Everything in our world is of the Earth and goes back to the Earth, which is why environmental energy is so powerful. Nothing is wholly manmade – all of it in some way, shape or form came from and goes back to the Earth, including us as human beings. This is the case whether we look at it using metaphysics, quantum physics, and the physics of chemical biology or philosophy.
Feng Shui is not at all an airy fairy belief, in fact it’s all about working with your energy, and so it is not just about moving your furniture around, but instead it includes working with the mind too.
Kurly Marwaha is a Feng Shui Master and first came across Feng Shui 23 years ago. She has apprenticed alongside masters and worked with clients to bring results. Kurly gets massive results and recently with a client, she was looking for love after just a 2 hour session her client has now found true love – now the caveat here is that client was fully enrolled and took action in line with recommendations. Contact Kurly if you’d like to find out if she can help you find love in this leap year.
I have had the pleasure to do many talks and workshops for people, and one thing stands out to me about all you wonderful folk that honour Feng Shui when you open up to it.
Feng Shui is a huge and vast subject that essentially deals with energy and how that interacts or affects us. It looks at how to optimise positive energy in your favour and how to balance out anything that isn’t directly serving what you want. When I talk to people about this it is inevitable that they get excited.
Consider how when you are in the presence of someone who is happy and inspired that it is quite infectious – like infectious laughter or diseases. As human beings, we pick up on each others’ energy without even meaning to and way before any words have been spoken, or looks exchanged, this other level of communication is already happening.
So let me return to the main point that I wanted to share with you today. When I share on Feng Shui inevitably people want more and more, and this level of enthusiasm is absolutely wonderful. However, I often find myself asking people to slow down or focus on what I’ve given them, and really implement it. When I do this I sometimes get a disappointed reaction. And then I always explain why we do what we do, and in the way that we do it.
How to Gain Momentum
So this blog is all about how to gain momentum and really get results in your life, so it’s important to slow down and focus on really implementing the basics. It’s all about the power of going step by step, and how if you go step by step before you know it your steps will become leaps and eventually quantum leaps just from the initial little steps and from consistently taking action.
Feng Shui is like any other science in that if you try to run before you walk you will be doing the opposite of improving your situation. So even though I understand how when you come to a workshop you want more information, I ask that you work with what you are given first, then seek more. When I (or whoever is leading your workshop) is giving you information, I am providing you with the first steps which are always most important in building momentum.
Layers Like an Onion
Think of energy work like layers that are building one on top of the other. For example, you would build a foundation for a house first. The next stage is the walls and structure, then the roof, and finally the décor and details within it – to use a metaphor to explain it. In fact, the power of the step by step approach applies to many areas and functions of life, not just Feng Shui.
The other thing is that in a group situation such as a workshop, information is provided for ‘everyone’ so that all of you can get value from it. In that workshop situation, it is advisable to use it in a gentler way because you are ‘leading your own consultation’, so to speak. A workshop situation would be likened to the example of a general health briefing which would include generic information, whereas if a doctor was doing a consultation directly with you, then that would lead to a very different action plan and level of support because it can be much more specific to that patient. Feng Shui works in the same way. So I ask you to learn the basics, apply them, allow yourself to experience and notice what comes from those implementations, and only then seek to build on your knowledge. It’s far more powerful than rushing to take in more and more information.
That said, do not think that the generic information lacks value – no. Remember that when the wind starts to flow in favour of you, a small change can make a massive impact, and bring great results for you.
Contact me directly or via Facebook if you would like to have a chat about how a specific consultation could bring major momentum to the things you’ve been working on and your goals.
